ice cream cone cakes

Just over a week until the last day of school and I let my kindergartner choose the what the big treat would be to mark the day.....vanilla cupcake ice cream cones it is - this recipe could not be easier.
I remember these from classroom birthday celebrations....I used to love the ones where the cupcake was baked separately and placed into the cone- then you would find m&ms or gummi bears at the bottom of the cone for a surprise!
